Organizing my desktop has always been a priority to me. If you read this recent article about my 3M Document Wedge, the Kensington InSight Priority Puck that I’ll be detailing in this article has a lot of similarities.
Both of these cool office tools allow you to hold papers or folders upright on your desktop without you having to hold them yourself. They both use the vertical space in your office instead of cluttering up the top of your desktop.
Limited real estate in a small office is always an issue and, because of this, I am a big proponent of keeping my desktop as clean as possible. Maybe you would think adding another desk accessory defeats that purpose but in this case it’s really not the case. The 3M Document Wedge is almost like a 3rd hand in that it keeps project file folders, ToDo Lists, or a trade journal right at your fingertips.
There are oftentimes that I have to transcribe information from a printed document to my computer. This Kensington InSight Priority Puck allows me to do just that very easily. I can simply look at the document which is in a vertical plane directly in front of me. This is just another added small office tool that I can use when needed. If I don’t need it I can simply store it in my desk drawer.
